About Leila Founes

Leila Founes, was born in Paris in 1992 to a multicultural family with a French-Syrian-Turkish heritage. Her diverse background fuels her creative perspective. After earning a degree in International Politics from King’s College London, she honed her fashion expertise at ESMOD Paris and gained invaluable experience working with creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri at Christian Dior Couture.

During her tenure at Dior, Leila crafted custom designs for A-list celebrities, including Rihanna, Serena Williams, and Jennifer Lawrence. A pivotal moment in her career came while designing ballet costumes for prestigious institutions like the Guggenheim Museum and the Opera of Rome. It was this experience that ignited her vision for LUNÈS—creating fashion that empowers women, allowing them to feel confident and beautiful in motion.

"My goal is to merge couture elements with the freedom of movement, creating sculptural forms that come alive on the body," Leila shares, encapsulating the spirit of LUNÈS.
